About
Hi, I'm Linda β founder, maker, and creative heart behind Cotton and Blue Co.!
In my 50s, I decided to reinvent myself β to follow a creative spark I had always felt but never fully explored. What started with a quilting obsession, quickly turned into bag making, and finally, quite by accident, upcycling. I fell in love with giving old materials new life, and there's been no looking back.
Today, I run a one-woman upcycling business from my home in Massachusetts. I rescue vintage quilts, denim, sweatshirts, and forgotten fabrics, and transform them into fun, whimsical, one-of-a-kind pieces that bring joy, nostalgia, and a little chaos into your closet.
Sewing and thrifting are more than just hobbies for me β they're my therapy, my creative outlet, and my way of connecting with others who believe in the magic of second chances (for clothes and for ourselves).
You can find my work online, at artisan markets around Boston, and in local shops like Paper and Clay (Melrose) and The Trove on Tremont (Boston). Whether you're here for a cozy reworked sweatshirt, a bold quilt jacket, or just a dose of inspiration, I'm so glad you found your way to my little corner of the world.
Thanks for being part of this journey β letβs see where it takes us!
